Add Buckwheat to KAF Sourdough Pancakes?

I was just wondering: I have never made the KAF sourdough pancakes, but have some buckwheat flour on hand. I'd love to substitute some for the white flour in the recipe. Can anyone suggest how much buckwheat I should use to keep the recipe working correctly?

I may make them without buckwheat first, to see how it goes. (I'm new at sourdough.)

Thank you!

I sub a portion of regular flour for buckwheat flour in a lot of things, but not in actual starter. Does your recipe call for adding dry ingredients to the starter? Try adding some at that point? Buckwheat makes batter or dough very dark but I like the flavor. I made some buckwheat pumpkin pancakes that were great. I think the batter had maybe two tbsp or so?
