Try putting spaces in the one in the discussion forum. This one does have spaces between words - the other doesn't.

howdy, I was trying to find out why, in the General Discussions list, the right-hand column was truncated or "pushed off" the margin. one of the posters had put in a very long title with no spaces.

Christian T, if I had checked back here and seen your suggestion about the spaces, I would have tried that sooner and given you the credit due that that was the problem. Mike Nolan also made that suggestion in one of the forums that I DID see, and I tried it. So I am hats off to you for that idea, it was the problem.

Of course, there is still the problem of why the software can't just wrap it's column, spaces or no, but that's for the techies; I can't fix that. Both the initial long-title poster and I have added spaces or shortened the titles, and that's why it's no longer a problem in General Discussions. When I initially asked about it in Site technical issues, PJ had thought it was my browser, but I knew that wasn't it. So, that's what it was all about!
