Unfortunately the only items of ours that retail stores carry are the signature flours (all purpose, bread, whole wheat and white whole wheat) and a few of the mixes. The specialty flours and ingredients such as the ClearJel are only available for purchase directly through King Arthur Flour.

What kind of recipe are you making? There may be other substitutes that we could suggest depending on how you were planning on using it.

If you live in an area where home canning is common, then you may find ClearJel in stores which carry canning supplies. Just make sure you buy instant ClearJel, not the regular kind.

Another option is cake decorating shops. I have in the past found ClearJel in one of those.

We are canning fruits and berries to be used in pies during the winter months. I will order from the web site. Thanks for your help.

Thanks Carol. Never thought about cake bakers.

If you live near any Amish Market, you can usually find it there.
