Guilty of Watching Bread Making Videos & Saw...
While watching a video on S&F with high hydration dough, the weekendbakery showed the bread in the oven. But the real MOMENT was when they opened the oven door. It was a small oven designed for bread baking.
You know I just had to go to the website.

When they don't include the price in the specs, it makes me wonder just how expensive they are.
I definitely need to win a kitchen make-over!

You and me both, Hazel! If not a total rehaul, at least a new oven. I have been complaining about mine for some time now, as the regulars here can attest!

Oooooh, the luxury of being able to choose exactly how you'd like your kitchen...(dream).
I am thinking of treating myself to some spanish tile to bake on though. Should only cost a couple of euros or maybe nothing if I sweet talk the guy at the yard! :)

They do look interesting, but I think their claim that their ovens can do anything that a bakery can do (within size limitations, presumably) is a bit extreme.
If they can't get to at least 650 degrees, they most certainly can't do everything a commercial oven can do, and they'd need to get even hotter to duplicate a commercial pizza oven.
Whether they could even be adapted to US electric power and meet all the codes is unclear.

Just what I need! But, you are right..... No prices listed says a lot.....

I finally found out much they are. Prices range from 665 to 1745 euros. They can't give it in dollars because the exchange rates change daily. To convert go to www.xe.com. Today, the cheapest goes for 881.13!

I know pammyowl. I received an email response and for the B5 is 605euros and then shipping is 207euros = approx $1,100 and then there's customs.
They said they do ship to the US - and to think this is the little one and not the high end one for the semi-pro which bakes up to 12 loaves.
Oh well. My new oven did just fine.
