Jack's Big Weekend

Jack and I went to a 3 day agility trial an hour from home. We qualified in 11/12 events and finished Level 3 CPE (Canine Performance Events). We had so much fun and he did me proud. Had a couple instances of running the course by the seat of my pants but that just adds to the adrenaline rush. Good Boy Jack!!!

The great thing about competing in CPE is that the competitors are so NICE. Everyone cheers each other on; even when you are competing against someone. Now, since Jack jumps 4" jumps, we VERY seldom have any competition. This weekend, however, there was another dachshund. Jack still took first place each time but it was fun seeing another wiener dog in the ring. Naturally Jack was THE most handsome boy there!
