Loaf like those served at Longhorn Steakhouse

Can anyone recommend a recipe similar to the whole wheat loaves served as an appetizer at Longhorn Steakhouses? Tastes like a honey wheat, but has grains in it. Any thoughts?

There are some attempts at copycat recipes out there, but none of them seem to call for anything other than a mixture of whole wheat flour and AP flour. (One of them uses a LOT of honey, 1/3 cup in 1.5 pounds of flour, see http://www.thefreshloaf.com/recipes/wholewheathoneybread)

Throwing in some multi-grain cracked cereal might get you closer, recently I've been adding 1/4 cup of cracked wheat to my honey wheat recipe. (Soaking the cracked wheat for an hour or two makes for a softer and lighter bread, though I don't always take the time to do it.)

Bob's Red Mill has a 7 grain cereal and Honeyville Farms has a 9 grain one.

You might try our Dark & Soft Chain Restaurant Rolls, with 1/2 cup Harvest Grains Blend added.

Oh, my gosh! My husb LOVES those at the Cheesecake Factory. He almost throws manners out the window going for those dark loaves in the bread basket. (grin) I didn't know this recipe was here, but I'll definitely make it next week for him to take up on his skiing weekend. Thanks!
