Nancy Whole Wheat Bread (modified...her nite)

I finally tried this bread, and it was wonderful.

The recipe calls for two cups WW, but I used WWW. My husband...who does not like whole wheat bread.....loves this bread. This one is a keeper.... I just had two pieces for breakfast. Yum.

The texture is light and fluffy....so soft. Makes great toast, too. No one would suspect it had that much whole wheat flour in it...... Yummy goodness for the grand boys. I plan to make them a couple of loaves today. In this case, what they don't know won't hurt them....but will benefit them.... Yay!

Give this simple bread a try....

Oh... Forgot to mention that. I fell asleep during the pan rising....it over proofed, bur was still luscious.

Where is this recipe?

easyquilts

D-Lady.... I found this wonderful bread on the forum home page...... Where they spotlight favorite recipes... Now I can't find it. If you can't find it, just let me know, and I will post it.

It's a little different, in that there are three rises.... Two in the bowl, and one in the pans. It really is delicious. I usually add almost a half cup of wheat germ, for a little added nutrition.

easyquilts, go to the top of this page and click on the word "search". On the next page click on the "user" box and then type in name of person you want, in this case pmiker, hit search and a list of names will come up. His name is first, click on it and it will bring you to his page. Go down to his list of recipes, I believe it's the first one. Hope this helps.
