Need Recipe

I was wondering does any member have a recipe using Paddy's Sourdough Starter that I use to make one loaf(small family) of bread? I looked in KAF recipe section and most of those say dairy free? Is it all right to use one of those recipes and use the buttermilk starter? I am not sure how to cut down the yeast for a smaller loaf. Please help.

This thread should help answer your questions. My last response to kathyd has notes that dachshundlady made about using Paddy's starter in other recipes.

Thank you for your help!

Dear Second12,

Lots of paddyL starter fans use the starter interchangeably in sourdough recipes, so I can't see that it would be a problem.

People have said they really like this starter because it's low maintenance and doesn't have a sour taste.

I have Paddy's starter in my frig now. I am waiting for the seventh day to use it. Thanks for your help.

Great! I hope you'll share with the class what you make and how it turns out!
