Hello. I just tried to reply to the comment by " aaronatthedoublef" in the thread in General Discussions entitled "Hang Out with Frank".

I clicked on "reply to this comment". However, my reply was posted at the bottom of the thread. Please advise. Susan

KAF rolled out an enhancement a couple of weeks ago that allows you to specify whether posts are displayed in chronological (flat) order or threaded order, and also whether they're in normal order or reverse order by date.

If you use chronological order, oldest first, then you get posts in the order they're written, just like on the old BC.

The 'collapsed' option gives you just the first line or so of each post.

What settings are you using?

Hi Mike - I switched to threaded/expanded and newest first. I even remembered to save the changes. My reply to your posting shows on top, not attached to your comment. Could I be hitting a wrong button - I hit "reply to this post" regarding your post. Susan

Hi Mike - Boy, these old eyes don't always see---I was using chronological order and oldest first. I just switched for this thread. Let's see how it posts. Thanks for help. Susan

Hi again Mike. Maybe it did work because my replies are shown indented as compared to yours, but not "attached" to yours. Any thoughts? Susan

Hi again, again, Mike. I think it did work because I am now viewing an indented series of my "reply to this post". I think they are at the top because I selected "newest first". Thanks Susan

I think you've tried more options than I have, I switched to flat, oldest first and have pretty much left it at that. Unless I take a long break from reading the BC (like a week), I can usually follow a thread well enough to know which posts were replies to which other posts through context.

Thanks Mike. I think I feel comfortable now. Susan
