Using Golden Eggnog cake mix to make the cupcake shown in Winter catalog, I've thrown the catalog out

I've discarded my winter catalog that showed how to use the Golden Eggnog cake mix to make cupcake using those tulip papers. I've got the mix, got the papers and am reading to mix and bake. Do I just do the cupcakes the same as the cake but for a shorter time perhaps????? Help

I have always used and believed that cake and cup cake recipes are interchangeable. The only difference is that the cupcakes cook for a shorter length of time. You could bake a test cupcake to see how long it takes to bake or you can bake all of the cupcakes and check to see if they are done at 15 minutes. I hope this helps.

Good morning. Marilyn, I am not familiar with that recipe, but if it contains Chemical leaveners do not open the oven door for the first 12, minutes. If you do you may be disturbing the leavners doing their thing. At which time you should re~arrange the baking pans to insure even baking. Muffins generally bake at 350 degrees (If doesn't have honey, molasses, otherwise then reduce temp to 325 Degrees.) Time wise total 17/20, minutes depending on the recipe. Do a toothpick test after 17, minutes.
