Welcome and the Kneading Conference

Let me take the opportunity of my first post to welcome you to the the KA Professional Community pages of the King Arthur Flour website. I'm looking forward to much lively discussion as we gather as a community and discuss all the of challenges of baking and of operating bakeries. I would also like to take this opportunity to invite you to use this space as a place to reach out to us here at King Arthur Flour's Bakery Flour Sales division. We're here for you so please do not hesitate ask us anything you may need an answer too. And, as the community grows, you'll be able to call upon other professional bakers as well.

Let me also direct your attention to a fantastic event that King Arthur is a major sponsor of: The Kneading Conference (www.kneadingconference.com). This event, being held this year in Skowhegan, Maine (the site of the original event 5 years ago) and, for the first time this year, Mt Vernon, WA is an opportunity for millers, bakers, and grain growers to gather together and learn from one another. Check out their website and try to attend if you have the time. It's an amazing event that just keeps on getting together. If you do plan on going be sure to say hello. I should be at both events.
